Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

Ensure the concrete substrate is dry and within the moisture tolerance specified by the flooring and adhesive manufacturers. Subfloors must be clean, structurally sound, and meet flatness and levelness requirements. Remove all substances that could interfere with adhesion or flooring performance. Repair any cracks, holes, joints, chips, or high spots. Use only cement-based, polymer-modified patching compounds suitable for the application, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Do not apply over substrates with pH > 10.

Application Method

Maintain a consistent temperature (65–85°F) and relative humidity (30–50%) before, during, and after installation. Follow all industry standards and manufacturer guidelines for substrate preparation, acclimation, and installation. Apply adhesive uniformly with the recommended trowel or roller (refer to trowel chart). Trowel ridges should be clean, consistent, and provide full substrate coverage. Respect the specified open time.

  • Porous Substrates: For a permanent bond, install flooring into semi-wet adhesive. For a releasable bond, allow adhesive to dry until tacky.
  • Non-Porous Substrates: Always allow adhesive to dry completely and become tacky before installation. Once tack is achieved, place flooring and roll it with a weighted roller as recommended by the flooring manufacturer.

Allow 8–10 hours cure time before normal traffic. Restrict heavy traffic for 24 hours. DO NOT DILUTE. For interior use only.

Clean-Up

Wet Adhesive: Use warm, soapy water

Dried Adhesive: Clean with mineral spirits (sparingly, avoid direct application to flooring)
