Surface Preparation: The surface must be free from grease and other residues, dry, smooth, and structurally sound. Check surfaces for paint bonding, damaged wallboard or plaster. Repair all unsound surfaces. Before proceeding with any unusual conditions, consult your adhesive or wallcovering supplier.
After completion of the required surface preparation, it is critical to test the surface with the adhesive to ensure compatibility. Select a small, inconspicuous area of the surface for testing and apply the adhesive as specified. Inspect the test area after 24 hours for any defects or inconsistencies before proceeding.
Dilution: Do not dilute.
Application Method: Product must be applied in climate-controlled conditions (ambient conditions: 59 to 77 degrees F, 30% to 50% humidity). Apply an even coat of adhesive with a notched 1/8 x1/8 x 7/16 metering trowel or 1/2-inch nap paint roller to deposit a minimum of 3 mils of adhesive. Allow adhesive to tack up for 3-5 minutes prior to installing wallcovering. Avoid contact with the face of the wallcovering.
Application Temperature: 59°F to 77°F
Clean-Up: Before the adhesive dries, remove any excess with clean water. Additional effort may be required if the adhesive is allowed to contact the surface of the material.
